explore the senses & experience life in high definition

why wine & yoga

I have three passions in my life, yoga, wine and cats!

Yoga and wine put us in touch with our senses and help us experience the richness of life in high definition. Connect with your body, mind, spirit and breathe.

The idea of creating the Yoga and Wine workshop manifested when I started to draw alignment to the similarities I found of the two different worlds of Wine and Yoga. While drawing the chart of a Vinyasa Class I was surprised how familiar it was to witness the birth of a wine.

So the idea became real in practice and I began to offer the one hour vinyasa practice followed by a wine tasting.

“For my hen we organised a Vino Before Vows party with Mine running a Yoga & Wine event. It was a brilliant mix of relaxation and celebration!

Mine was in constant contact in the run up to the event – offering location options, providing well-curated selection of wines (grape variety, location and price), understanding guest needs, and organising additional food requests. She made me feel supported and thought of everything to make the event run well.

On the day, Mine’s yoga was thoughtfully paced – suitable for beginners and those with injuries but engaging enough for yogis. Mine provided a period of meditation, breathing techniques for the big day, and alternatives and ways to challenge ourselves, creating some giggles during the balance poses. It was a very fun bonding experience between family and friends.

Then came the wine tasting – we learnt so much about the techniques behind tasting wine, the wines we had chosen and the perfect food pairings. It really was delicious. Mine was mindful to allow us time to unwind, chat and celebrate as well. Even those attending that didn’t drink wine still said they enjoyed energy of the experience.

This was such a great activity for a hen – it catered to the entire group dynamic of young and old. We all left feeling wholesome and celebrated, refreshed and slightly buzzed.”

“I attended Mine’s yoga & wine workshop and what a fun and restorative way to spend an afternoon! Her yoga class was the right balance of challenging but still within my comfort zone, and her direction was clear and encouraging. The wine tasting was fun and informative – we tasted a varied range of delicious wines and interesting grape varieties. Would highly recommend.”
