WSET Level 3 Award in Wines (Jan-Mar)
The aim of this six day course is to provide detailed analysis of the principal wines of the world. Students will also benefit from in-depth tastings where they will learn to identify product style and quality. This qualification is open to students who hold the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits or can demonstrate the equivalent level of knowledge. It is recommended that students complete the Level 2 Award in Wines before progressing to the Level 3 Award. It is a prerequisite for candidates planning to study for the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits qualification.

This month we will focus on different winemaking techniques and their impacts on the wines. So we can understand the terms such as fruity, barrel aged, matured in bottle etc in a better sense.

In association with Direct Wine Shipments, Belfast, we offer the Wine & Spirit Education Trust® Level 2 Award in Wines Mondays from 17th June - Monday 24th June 2024, 9.45am – 6pm The aim of this two day course is to focus on the key grape varieties and regions of the world and principle varieties of wines. Midday Masterclass
Next Midday Masterclass will take place on 15th of February and our theme is; 'A Trip to Rhone' We will taste wines from North and South Rhone regions, chat about the area, grapes and styles.
