Enrol in the first-of-its kind California wine certification and education program in Northern Ireland, Capstone California, with Mine Bennett. The Capstone California program offers four levels of study, from novice to expert. Each builds on the level prior and covers history, lore, geography, climate, soils, grapes, viticulture, vinification, ageing and maturation, wine laws, official classifications, producers, vintages and the business of wine. Capstone California Course - Level 1 The Introductory Level 1 covers five hours of wine curriculum, beginning with major eras in the history of California wine, including the Mission era, post-Gold Rush, Prohibition and modern times. IN-PERSON COURSE FORMATS:

The aim of this six day course is to provide detailed analysis of the principal wines of the world. Students will also benefit from in-depth tastings where they will learn to identify product style and quality. This qualification is open to students who hold the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits or can demonstrate the equivalent level of knowledge. It is recommended that students complete the Level 2 Award in Wines before progressing to the Level 3 Award. It is a prerequisite for candidates planning to study for the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits qualification.

WSET Level 3 Award in Wine February 2026 Course An advanced level qualification for professionals working in the wine industry and for wine enthusiasts. For individuals seeking to delve deeper into the world of wines, this qualification provides a detailed understanding of grape growing and wine making. Upon completion you will be able to assess wines accurately, and use your understanding to confidently explain wine style and quality. Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin, and will be able to use the associated WSET certified logo. The course will take place in VinspireWine & Spirit

In association with Direct Wine Shipments, Belfast, we offer the Wine & Spirit Education Trust® Level 2 Award in Wines Mondays from 17th June - Monday 24th June 2024, 9.45am – 6pm The aim of this two day course is to focus on the key grape varieties and regions of the world and principle varieties of wines. The course is followed by a one hour exam of 50 multiple choice questions.
